Books I read:

This is a photo of the book Red, White & Royal Blue on a window sill.
  • Starsight by Brandon Sanderson – I read this almost in one day, and it was really good. This is the sequel to Skyward, which was also a great book, and the follow-up did not disappoint. Sanderson did the perfect job of expanding the world and raising the stakes and making me care more about the characters than I already did.
  • Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston – I wrote a full review that you can read here, but basically it’s a delightful book with a steamy hot romance that will also help restore your faith in the world.

Books purchased:

None! I did great this week.

In progress:

I’m finishing up some books from a jolabokaflod exchange last year (I procrastinated and now I’m regretting it). I just have two left – one of which I’ve been reading as an ebook off and on, and the other I just downloaded as an audiobook. The Shadow of the Wind is still okay but not captivating, but I think Parable of the Sower might be more enjoyable for me.

What’s next:

This week I’ll be finishing up jola books and picking up some more things from my January possibility pile. My Dark Vanessa is calling my name! Hopefully I’ll be able to finish it and write a review this week. I’ve heard lots of good things about it!

TBR count: 70

Starsight was from my tbr shelf, so progress was made! My count is down from 72 last week, which obviously doesn’t add up. I think I was scrolling through my tbr shelf on Goodreads and deleted something that I don’t own anymore. 🤷

Happy reading!
